Report: On this opening day of the season Corby Kingswood were without two key members of their team, which saw two players playing out of position. In the first half Kingswood were up against a strong attacking Aztec side going 4-0 down before the half time whistle. After a couple of changes, Kingswood came out for the second half looking a better team. The girls battled hard, attacking and defending with conviction and were unfortunate not to find the back of the net. Before the final whistle Aztecs came attacking again and two more goals were scored.

Report: Corby went 1 goal down within the first ten minutes of kick off. Some good pressure from Chelsea Dady on the Moulton goalkeeper, with her shot just going wide. Corby started the second half better with many attempts on goal and their hard work was rewarded through Dannielle Gaskell's goal, leveling the scores. Great game by both sides.

Subs: Amee Ward, Emily Gallagher and Jenna Such
Report: First game of the season was an enjoyable experience for the girls. A good tempo right from the start kept Kingwood on the back foot most of the first half; the girls were soon starting to get a grip with passing and moving in the final third of the pitch and so creating lots of chances. Emily scoring a hat-trick and Kitty also scored. The Second half became more even as players tired, and with several substitutions Kingwood seemed to be more in the game. Saying that the Kingwood goalkeeper pulled off two great saves from Emily to keep the score down but Emily did score again in the game, and then Jenna scored her first goal ever from a sweeping move across the pitch. The girls really worked well as a team tracking back and with Ashleigh and Ellie and Emily marshalling the defence, Kaysha was only troubled once of note having to make a late save on the line.

Match Report:
The Celtic girls, took on Parklands in the opening league game of the season, and the girls faced a very defensive Parklands, but Celtic pressed from the start, with them opening the scoring half ways through the first half, the girls scored 8 goals in all, a hatrick apiece to Alicia, and Monique, and one to both Ellie, and Misha, and an own goal from Parklands to make it nine, a very good performance to Celtic today, as the girls played some nice pass and move football, well done girls.
M.O.T.M: to both Monique and Alicia for the hat-tricks

Result: Drew 1 v 1
Scorers: Catherine Eden 1,
MOM: Heather Mulcahy
Team: Heather Mulcahy, Lenia Oshea, Jessica Oppido, Lauren Sturgess, Catherine Eden, Lucy Wilde, Emily Worth.
Report: - This was the first game of the season and Moulton were nervous but up for a good game to start off the season. Moulton started really well putting on the pressure and kept strong in defence, until moulton had a break through with Catherine Eden scoring to put Moulton in front. Moulton were still 1 v 0 up at the half time break and were determined to keep concentrated. Corby then hit back in the second half with a brilliant shot from their striker, Corby then kept on the pressure but moulton kept their defence strong and nearly managed to get a winner in the last few minutes but it was saved on the line from the Corby keeper. MOM goes to Heather Mulcahy who had an excellent game in goal. Both teams had a really good game, Well done girls, keep up the hard work.
